I’ve come to realize that sometimes people view me as more of a… machine (for lack of a better word) than a person. I’ve been writing fast, I’ve been publishing a lot. And yes, I’ve had some success. I do my best to remain professional, to show everyone that my books are worth the time. I also try to show people that I care about them as well; I don’t just care about the sale. This year I learned those things somehow and in some ways made me less human to some people. It made me realize that perhaps showing more of my “human”Read More →

TEXT IS RELEASED!!!! I am genuinely excited today for this release. I don’t think I can convey how much I love this book. The concept, the cover, the characters & the story all came together so beautifully for me. Not only that but it has such special meaning to me for so many reasons. It’s set in the place I used to live. Honor’s home is actually where I used to live and the trail she is kidnapped off of, I used to walk almost daily. Also, my husband is a Marine and he worked at the same place as Nathan in the book. Oh,Read More →

As part of  the countdown to TEXT’s release I thought I would share with you a little something about the main character, Nathan. Like he is serious about his pie. He loves it. In fact, when I was writing Text I baked pies a lot. Ha ha ha. My family really enjoyed it. So today I brought along my recipe for Apple Pie. I’m calling it Nathan’s apple pie in honor of my main man in Text. The recipe can also be found in the back of TEXT. It’s the perfect time of year to bake, eat and enjoy!!   A few fun facts aboutRead More →

I am so so excited for this Friday (November 8th) because its TEXT release day!! Yay!! So in honor of the upcoming release I am going to be posting a post today and another post tomorrow that have to do with TEXT. Today’s post is a little peak into the setting of TEXT. I’ve been pretty vocal about this book and how special it is to me. One of the reasons I think I identify with it so much is because the setting is in Slatington, PA. I lived in Slatington last year. It was my inspiration behind this book. It is such a stunningRead More →

Okay, let me just tell you that I am obsessed. Like seriously obsessed with this cover. Its bad. Its so bad its good. I probably frightened Regina Wamba (the photographer and designer of the cover) with the force of my obsession. LOL. From the minute I saw this image I had to have it. I even texted Regina at night to make her promise me she wouldn’t let anyone else have it. Then I proceeded to order necklaces, a hoodie and swag with the cover on it. The hoodie is for me. 🙂 I’ll post the picture of it bel0w. I wear it all theRead More →

A very long time ago in the land of Oz…. Okay it wasn’t Oz and it was only last year…. but still. It seems like forever ago! Anyway, way back in the very beginning of my career as a writer when I was with a small publisher my short story WHITEOUT was released. Well months later my publisher closed their doors and I decided to go Indie. When I did I focused on the Heven & Hell series and WHITEOUT got left out in the cold… get it? Whiteout, the cold… nevermind. Somewhere someone is laughing with me. 🙂 I decided to pull itRead More →
