Werewolf Wednesday #4

 

Werewolf Wednesday is a weekly meme where I profile a new werewolf every week. The werewolf can be from TV, books or movies. I welcome anyone who wants to join or just stop by and see who I am howling at today!

Todays featured werewolf is someone that I know everyone has heard of. If you haven’t you might want to get out more. LOL. Yes, this series has been all over everything and some people are getting tired of seeing it around, but come on, you have to agree that I can’t profile werewolves and NOT include most arguably the most famous werewolf there is. 😉

Werewolf:  Jacob Black

Series: Twilight

Love interest: Bella

Werewolf enemy in this series: Vampires (the bloodsuckers, lol)

Stats: He is of Native American culture and he lives on a reservation near Forks. He starts out the series young, not really that hot but always very very nice. He kind of seemed like he would make a great kid brother. Then everything changed. The reappearance of the Cullens (AKA bloodsuckers) caused the tribal “curse” to activate thus turning some of the males on the reservation into werewolves. Jacob is one of them. After he changes he isn’t the kid brother anymore. He’s hot. He’s muscled and he cuts off all that hair for a ‘run your fingers through my hair’ kind of look. 

What he drives: At first he drives nothing at all which is lame. LOL. BUT he does have quite the handy man inside him and he works on cars. In New Moon he and Bella fix up some old motorcycles (he fixes she hands him tools, lol) and he drives a motorcycle the rest of the series. Yes, that is hot. lol.

 

Characteristics: He is very protective (aren’t they all?), loyal to his friends and his pack but when they challenge what he believes in he has the courage to go against them. Not any wolf can do that. That is the making of an Alpha – the strongest kind of werewolf you can be. As previously noted he is good at fixing things so he would be handy to have around. 😉 He also seems to have that unrequited, tortured lover look and attitude about him which makes girls everywhere swoon and want to make his problems all better. (what? tell me it isn’t true – lol) Also, as a werewolf he has the ability to Imprint on another person. Not all weres in this series have imprinted on someone but its basically the be all and end all in a soul mate. Once a were locks eyes on the person they imprint on no one else matters. I think thats kind of romantic. (yes, you may roll your eyes)

Why he’s so hot: Because he will take on just about anyone head on who challenges him. He doesn’t back down from a fight and he isn’t afraid to say what he beleives in. And because he fights for the girl. Even when the odds are against him he still tries to win Bella’s heart. Now, personally, yes, Edward is hot but Jacob is wayyyyy better and I think Bella is crazy!! Also, I will note that I think the people who made New Moon and the other movies with the wolves in it did a pretty good job with the special effects and the wolves are pretty cool looking. Oh! And can I just say that is is steamy smokin that he is always like 108 degrees. Who needs a blanket when you have that???
