So yeah, I’ve been talking about this series for a while. I’ve been hinting at it and people seem to be pretty interested. Which is why I am SUPER excited to finally reveal the cover for #Nerd – the first book in my new #Hashtag Series !!
Let me show it to ya (because who wants to wait?) and then I’ll tell you a little bit about it.

I’m totally in love with this cover. It’s different than anything I’ve done before and I really just wanted something new and fresh. And do you like how we snuck a little of that new adult steam on the back as well?
I can’t say enough about Regina at Mae I Design. She’s a brilliant and talented designer. She kind of is the reason for the birth of this series. The photo on the cover, is something that I happened to run across on Facebook one day while I was working (or maybe procrastinating….) and I just loved it so much. It made me smile, it made me stop and stare…. and it made me wonder about that girl. Who was she. Why was she so adorably nerdy?
And the title just hit me. #Nerd. I had to write this girl’s story.
I messaged Regina that day and I told her I wanted to buy the photo and I told her my title. We both immediately had the same vision for this book. Fun, fresh with bright colors and something a little unique.
When I looked at this girl I saw college. I saw football, bleachers, apple cider, trees with falling leaves and chilling autumn air.
And so Rimmel was born. Romeo can very shortly after.
Since then I have almost ate, slept and breathed this book and these characters. I spent much time building a world around them and coming up with names, places and SO much amazing swag. (you guys just wait, the swag is #offthechain)
This book is different from my Take It Off series. It doesn’t have that suspense angle that I love to play on in my other contemporary series. This is (to me) a true contemporary romance.
