Welcome to the blog today! Today is my day to host the gorgeous Airicka Phoenix on her Touching Eternity Blog Tour! Airicka is fantastic and I have come to know her lately online and let me tell you she is one of the nicest and most dedicated author’s I have met. Not only is she an author, a mother, etc but she is an artist and a talented designer – She does her own covers!!

For today I have a short, fun get to know you interview with Airicka! After the interview I will tell you all about her book that you know is a must read!

So let’s get to know Airicka!

Thank you for being here today, Airicka as part of your Touching Eternity blog tour! A lot of readers like to know the person behind the book, the creator. So I put together this fun little interview so that me and your many, many fans could get to know you better!

 So tell us:

What is your favorite color?

I love saying black, even if it’s a shade and not a color. Lol.

What is your favorite holiday? Why?

Halloween! Getting to dress up in outfits I would normally wear around the house, I can actually go outside wearing them and no one cares! LOL

When you are writing do you need to have any specific beside/with you? If so, what?

Not really. Mostly I have my hot chocolate, my music and my notes.

Would you rather eat a cupcake or a piece of pie?

Cupcake! (Unless it’s McDonald apple pie… Then I go pie!)

Other than the swoon worthy men from your book who is your book boyfriend?

Truth be told, there are so many delicious book boys out there that I’d feel like I was cheating if I just named one. I have the worst time trying to think of one I like better than the others.

What is the last book you read?

That would be The Iron Fey by Julia Kagawa

What is a typical day like for you?

I wake up at 6am. Get kids ready for school. Go to work. Come home. Get an hour or so of writing in. Pick up kids from school. Family/home stuff until 8pm. Then I write until 4am. Rinse & Repeat.

In addition to being a fab writer you are also very good at design. How long have you been designing? If you could only do one thing the rest of your life would it be design or write?

I’ve always loved art. It was, aside from English, my favorite class in school. Before Photoshop, I used to use paint. And loved it. Then I got Photoshop and I just fell in love. I’ve been working with Photoshop for a little under three years. I’m still learning. But if I had to pick between design and writing, I would pick writing. I love my work. I love creating worlds.

What is your favorite thing about Touching Eternity?

That it basically writes itself. The entire series is so vivid in my mind that it comes with no effort at all.

If you could have dinner with one person who would it be and why?

My self-appointed grandmother. She passed away 6yrs ago. I wasn’t there and I hadn’t seen her in 2-3yrs before that so I would really like to see her again.

Tell us one thing about you that we don’t know.

That people take me far too seriously when in reality, I’m probably the most laidback person on the planet. I’m also not intimidating. I love meeting people and never turn down the opportunity to meet a new friend. I’ve had a few people say they’re surprised by how easy going I am when they’re sure, because I’m an author, I won’t have the time/patience to speak to them. I say hit me up! If I’m around, I’ll always respond.

Thank you so much for having me! It’s been wonderful sitting down with you and your readers. I wish you loads of success on the release of your upcoming novel as well! <3

Thank you for being here today! It was great getting to know you!

Isn’t she wonderful? And now here is some information about her book Touching Eternity!

What would you choose?
She had everything but freedom.
He had nothing but his loyalty, his wits and his training.
She was a prisoner, a disease, not fit for the world, and she didn’t know why. But she did know she wasn’t allowed to die, she wasn’t allowed to live and she wasn’t sane.
He was a soldier, a protector, but his foundation will be tested when he must destroy the only light in his dark world.
Thrown together, prisoner and keeper, their rebellion will splinter through time, changing the course of history and the fate of the world. Their love will challenge their greatest enemy and immortalize them forever.
Loyalty. Freedom. Love.
What would you risk?
“Let me die.”
Pain darkened his eyes. “Never.”

  1. UGH ONE MORE BOOK FOR MY BOOK LIST. NOT THAT THAT IS NOT A BAD THING. 🙂 BUT I ADDED AT LEAST TEN BOOKS TO MY BOOK LIST TODAY, AND I’M GOING TO HAVE TO STOP AND GET READING! MY GOAL FOR THIS WEEK: DONT GO TO THE LIBRARY TO LOOK AT BOOKS NO MORE UNTIL I FINISHED HALF THE BOOKS ON MY BOOK LIST! ^_^
