Welcome to my weekly meme Tell Me Something Tuesday where I ask you something and you tell me the answer!! It’s as simple as that and I thought it would be a great way for all of us bloggers to get to know one another! So this is how it works: I post a question here on my blog and then i give my answer. I invite all the bloggers to take the question and post it on their blog with their answer and we can hop around and see what everyone says! If you are a blogger don’t forget to leave your link at the bottom of this post! If you aren’t a blogger – that’s okay too!! Leave your answer in the comments section!

 Tell Me Something:

What have been your favorite reads of 2012?

My Answer:

I know that we have one more month to go for this year but since I am planning a special holiday month for TMST I thought that I would ask this question now.

As far as my reading for this year, started the year out strong but then summer came and my reading practically came to a screeching halt. I got busy with a move and Tirade, edits, and switching from traditional pub to Indie.

Frankly, I can barely remember all the books I have read. So, I guess I could say that if I remember it then it must have been pretty good right? LOL.

Some of my favorites that I read this year were:

#1 Hunger Games Trilogy. – I put off reading these books forever but I really enjoyed them. They were very emotional for me.

Lies Beneath (Lies Beneath #1)

#2 Lies Beneath. – This is a great mermaid book. I really enjoyed it.

#3 A Beautiful Dark. – I absolutely loved this book. I waited forever for the second one – A Fractured Light – to come out and when it did I bought it to read immediately. Unfortunately, the second book wasn’t nearly as good for me as the first.

#4 Wolfsbane and Bloodrose. – The second and third in the Nightshade Trilogy. This is a really great shifter series and I really enjoyed it – it was pretty original.

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)

#5 Angel Fall. – I read this over the summer and I really enjoyed the pacing of the book. It was go, go, go from start to finish. It is definitely a recommended read.

#6 Cold Blood – the third book in the Dirty Blood Series. This series rocks my socks off.

Those are some of my top picks for this year. I can’t wait to see what you all have chosen!

A quick note before we get to next week’s question… I want to tell you all that on this Friday (the 30th) the third book in the Heven and Hell series, Tirade, will be releasing! Please drop by the site for a little Release day Party and a giveaway!!

Next week’s Question:

This is the start of our special holiday month for TMST! Instead of giving you just next week’s question I am going to give you all month’s so it will be easy and you can see what we are planning. Also, if you have a blogger that you know that would like to join in, tell them! We would love to have more people participate!

  1. Most of these books are on my to read list. I’ve read the Hunger Games trilogy last year and loved it. It was truly amazing.

  2. I can’t believe I have not read Angelfall. I remember all the hype last Christmas and I bought it for $.99 and still haven’t gotten there. I also only read the first book of H.G. again no time. Ahh well. Love the upcoming questions. I did a big shout out for Tirade on Friday Forecast last week. Wishing I could start it now but I have a very tight schedule.

  3. Hey!
