And now onto this week’s questions!

Questions for Week Four Chapters 21-24

1. Did you have a favorite part in this book?

You will have to bear with me because I have moved onto Renegade and the books are starting to blur together for me… Of course I have favorite parts in all the books, but since I am the author I am a bit biased as I like all the parts. There is one part that stands out for me in Charade… the part where Sam goes into Heven’s mind to break the link the Dream Walker left there. I liked his thoughts and feelings as he went into her head.

2. The characters travel to hell in hopes to get the scroll back. I would say hell is the worst place they have ever been. Where is the WORST place you have ever been?

The worst place I have ever been… this is really hard actually. I’m thinking and thinking and I can’t really think of places that I thought were horrible. I think what makes a place horrible is the experiences that you have in them. Like the doctor’s office. You go there and even if you have an appointment you have to sit and sit and sit and it’s endless. You are surrounded by sick people in the waiting room and then when you finally do get called back you see the doctor for all of five minutes. Lol. I’m not a big fan of doctor’s offices. I really can’t think of something that sticks out in my mind as the worst place I have ever been.

3. Heven steps in front of a chain to protect Sam and is injured. She will be scarred again. Do you think she will act the same way as before or do you think that she is a different person now?

Well, I think she is a different person now. She has totally changed and grown and I think she realizes now that there are far more important things in her life than the way she looks. Though, I will say that the first time she was scarred I don’t think she was as upset about the way she looked (she was but it wasn’t her main concern) as she was the fact she didn’t remember how she got that way and so everyone whispered behind her back.

4. We now know why Logan was acting so odd. How do you think he will be now that the demon is gone?

Ahhh Logan. I will refrain from answering this question in depth because I might give something away but I will say that I think we will see what Logan is really like after this.

5. Any predictions for the next book in the series, Tirade?

I predict that there will be a lot of action, a lot of demons, a lot of revenge and some new places and characters that we will get to know. I think that the book is a little more… intense than the first two in the fact that some things get nasty and there are some deaths. I really hope that you all enjoy the book.

  1. Yes, doctors office and hospitals ARE hell.

O o o o … I knew someone would die in the next one. Hopefully I can get to it soon. 😀

  2. Ooohhhh yeah I really like the part where he went in her head too! Looking back it was hard for me to pick just one favorite scene. I liked many different parts but I really like all the lovey scenes between Sam and Heven. 😀 Yes I think the fear and anxiety of waiting sometimes makes place worse than they are. I agree and I was just thinking the same thing about Heven and her scars. Not so much that she has them but she didn’t know what happened to her and also that her mother treated her so horribly and she didn’t have anyone in her corner. Everyone needs support to get through difficult times. I am curious to see what Logan is like and I hope he is better after this. Ahh more intense and deaths!?!? *bites nails* This was fun and thanks for letting me help host this read-along!

  3. I couldn’t think of the worst place I’ve ever been either. It’s really hard to pin something like that down. 🙂
I also agree with what you said about Heven, she has grown so much and a scar is not going to stand in her way anymore.

  4. I have a question. So is Logan a hellhound or was it the demon? There is a part where Sam says he should have known the demon was inside him because there was no way he could be a hellhound. Now that the demon is gone will he be a regular boy?

  5. On boy nasty, action and death. Sounds like the stakes are higher. As far as bad places you forgot public toilets! I am sorry .i have been a blog flake. Burned out and needed a vacation. I have to catch up now!

  6. Hi, Cambria!

Sorry for the delay in commenting on your answers. This has been a VERY busy week for me. But here I am now!!

Yes, great minds DO think alike! Lol. As you know, this is my favorite part of the book, as well. It was very creative of you to come up with this, and I was totally fascinated as I read this part!

Funny you should mention doctors’ offices as the worst place you’ve ever been…just the other day, I arrived early for my 2:45 PM appointment at a doctor’s office. I had to sign in, and you know what time it was when I got there? Well, it was exactly 2:11 PM!! You know what time I was finally able to see the doctor? At about 4:50 PM!!!! I was SO ticked off!!!! So I totally agree with you about this!

I, too, believe that Heven is a very different person now, so she won’t be as affected by being scarred again. She now knows just how important inner beauty is. Besides, she’s much stronger, psychologically speaking. her self-confidence is much higher now. And, Sam’s love sure helps a lot!!!

Logan is finally free to be himself! That’s great, because I’ve always liked him, in spite of the things he’s done. All along, I felt that he had something really wrong with him, that the way he treated Heven was not indicative of who he really was, and is. Great work on writing him!!

I know that Tirade will have LOTS of action, and I can’t wait to see what role Riley plays in this book!! I have no predictions save for the fact that I know Heven will get Sam out of hell, and their love will continue to thrive. I’m really looking forward to reading this book!!

Thank you, Cambria for this TERRIFIC read-along, which I have GREATLY enjoyed!! I’m sorry it’s over….but there will also be a Tirade Read-Along, right?
