Welcome to my weekly meme Tell Me Something Tuesday where I ask you something and you tell me the answer!! It’s as simple as that and I thought it would be a great way for all of us bloggers to get to know one another! So this is how it works: I post a question here on my blog and then i give my answer. I invite all the bloggers to take the question and post it on their blog with their answer and we can hop around and see what everyone says! If you are a blogger don’t forget to leave your link at the bottom of this post! If you aren’t a blogger – that’s okay too!! Leave your answer in the comments section!

 Tell Me Something:

What new releases are you looking forward to this fall?

My answer:

The temperature is beginnning to drop, the leaves are starting to turn and the Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks! It’s the perfect time to cozy up with a good book and get some good reading done!!!!

Okay, so I almost am ashamed to admit but…. I don’t have that long of a list…. but not because I don’t love books, because I do! It’s because I haven’t had a chance to read that much so I don’t know what’s coming out. 🙁 I know, it’s awful. LOL.

I do have a couple though so I will share those with you and NO DOUBT that once I see your lists my list will grow by leaps and books. 🙂

So here is the one I am most waiting for:

A Fractured Light by Jocelyn Davies. This is the sequel to A Beautiful Dark  A Beautiful Dark (A Beautiful Dark, #1)      and I know you all have heard me talk about that book. I loved it.

A Fractured Light (A Beautiful Dark, #2)

When she wakes up in unfamiliar surroundings, Skye knows something terrible has happened to her. It’s not until she hears Asher, the dark, rebellious angel she fell in love with, that the memories come flooding back. She tries to put the past behind her, but she knows she’ll be forever haunted by the ruthless betrayal that almost took her life.

Expected Publication of A Fractured Light is September 25th!

The other book I am excited to check out is from a debut author!

Flutter by Melissa Andrea

Flutter

Sara’s life is forever changed –
Waking up, buried & hidden deeply in the last place anyone would want to be, will do that. She is determined to find out how she ended up there & why, but when the only person who can help her, continuously lies to her, she finds herself forced to suffer alone. She can’t ignore the strange things that begin to happen to her nor can she hide from the nightmares that haunt her sleep. And when her world collides with Adan – the mysterious boy whom she can’t seem to stay away from, literally – she is consumed by the familiar flutter that sparks whenever he is around and she is desperate to discover the reason why.
But the biggest discovery will come from the secret of what she is…

Adan

Adan’s mission to find Sara has finally approached –
It seemed simple: bring her back to the enchanted world that lives, breathes and survives because of her, but he quickly finds himself faced with an entirely new challenge. Immediately, Adan realizes that staying unknown to Sara is a task he will fail before even attempting. The pull to her is far too strong to refuse, and being with her will defy the very reason he existed. He was the key to her survival and loving her was not part of the plan that he had been born to follow. Can he find it in himself too resist the urge to be with her and follow through with their destiny or will he destroy everything that had been left to Sara to protect and defend –
And the kingdom she is unaware she rules…

Flutter

As Sara and Adan struggle to overcome their own separate battles –
There is a far more determined evil that is stalking the shadows and waiting to annihilate them both.
Sara will figure out that not everything is what it seems and knowing what she can and can not trust will be the key to finding out the truth to what happened to her, the reason why she had been buried alive and who she really is…

Sara and Adan will discover the hidden meaning to why she was the reason he existed and why he would be the reason she survived & together they will fight to change the rules and rewrite their fate.

Discover the Meaning,
Discover the Secret,
Discover
Flutter

Expected publication for Flutter is October 2012

So that is my very short list but the books are still good, yes? 🙂

Can’t wait to hear all of yours. Tell me what to read this fall!!!!!!!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

I wanted to let you all know that Tell Me Something Tuesday is going on haitus in October. What does that mean? For the entire month of October there will be no TMST posts. Yes, I know it’s sad. But, it’s a busy time. I have two releases coming out soon and I have some blog things going on, etc. Plus the mega bloh hop Something Wicked (hosted by Heidi over at Rainy Day Ramblings http://www.rainydayramblings.com ) is going on and I will be participating in that. But this Meme will be back in November (and so will the Charade Read along!). During October I will be looking for more blogs to participate in TMST and I will design a new picture and button to go with the Meme. I hope you will all remember this meme when November rolls around and its back. Let’s make it bigger and better than ever! If you have any questions you want to see me ask – Email me! I will ask them!

But there are still a couple weeks left of TMST this September so let’s enjoy them!

Next week’s TMST question:

Do you like stand alone books – why or why not? What is the last stand alone title that you read?

  1. I love the cover of Flutter.

I will try and participate in the meme during Septemeber since it’s going on a hiatus.

  2. I am sad about there being no TMST in October, but I understand completely as to why. I will definitely be back in November.

I read A Beautiful Dark and thought is was ok. I will probably read #2, but it wasn’t a wow for me. I hope you love it though! Futter looks good too. I hope to read that one as well. I have so many books I want to read and am trying to get through my have to reads so I can get to my want to reads.

  3. Wow that is a short list, makes it easier on your pocket book…. I think I might have to convince you to read some of my titles. I am curious about Flutter as well since I did the cover reveal. I will start thinking of some good questions for upcoming TMST. I always have fun answering them and I love the discussion it generates on my blog. Happy Tuesday. Headed to get balloons and make a cake, though I know my cake won’t be nearly as fancy…. Risa wants a Pet Shop cake.

  4. Hi Cambria,
I kinda just wanted to pop in to apologise for not participating for a couple of weeks, it just hasn’t seemed to work out lately!

I can’t think too far ahead when it comes to future releases. I’m too busy in the here and now when it comes to books at the moment as I am buried in my TBR pile (Apart from Bewitched… And no, that’s not just me trying to make up for bad attendance, I’m really looking forward to it! ;0))

Intrigued by ‘Flutter’ though and the cover looks gorgeous!
