Welcome to my weekly meme Tell Me Something Tuesday where I ask you something and you tell me the answer!! It’s as simple as that and I thought it would be a great way for all of us bloggers to get to know one another! So this is how it works: I post a question here on my blog and then i give my answer. I invite all the bloggers to take the question and post it on their blog with their answer and we can hop around and see what everyone says! If you are a blogger don’t forget to leave your link at the bottom of this post! If you aren’t a blogger – that’s okay too!! Leave your answer in the comments section!

 Tell Me Something:

If you could spend a day with a book character who would it be and what would you do?

My Answer:

This is a super hard question. I had to think about it a lot and I could list a TON of characters, but I will limit myself to one. The character I would like to spend a day with is: Calder White.

For anyone who doesn’t know who Calder White is he is a merman/mermaid from Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown.

Interesting, yes?

I know you are all shocked that I didn’t pick a werewolf… but hey, I thought I would keep you all on your toes today. 🙂

So why Calder?

No, he isn’t always kind, I mean he does kill people. LOL. So let me just say first that what we would NOT do is kill me. Now that we have that cleared up let me move on. Mermaids (mermen, whatever) intrigue me. They are part of my world (human) and part supernatural. They can come onto land and into the sea.

Calder was ruthless but yet underneath there was a human side to him, a softer side. His thought process was so different from my own that I would just love to ask him a million questions because I know his answers wouldn’t be boring. And you know, he is very good looking, and as a mermaid he draws people with whatever it is about him… I would like to know if I would be that drawn to him and watch others to see how they reacted to him as well.

What would we do?

Duh! We would go into the sea so I could see his tail and watch him swim. Hopefully, he would take me on a tour of what it was like to be beneath the water… the fish, the bottom of the sea (or in Calder’s case the lake). I would see what it’s like to be a Mermaid and then we could get back on dry land and do something typically human, like have coffee and see a movie. I think just talking to him would be interesting.

And like I said, there would be no killing of anyone during our day. LOL.

Other characters I would love to spend the day with include Riley from the Intertwined series, Peeta from Hunger Games (we could make cakes!), Juliet from Juliet Immortal, and of course Sam from the Heven and Hell Series.

So that is my answer for this week’s TMST!!

But wait! Don’t go! I have a small announcement to make! Tonight I am going to be doing a live interview on JournalJabber (the blog talk radio show I co-host) at 9pm EST time. It is an hour long show and you can log into the chat room and chat with us and ask questions! OR you can call in (the number is on the home page) and ask me a question!
