Tell Me Something Tuesday #8
|February 14, 2012||Posted by Cambria under Tell me something Tuesday|
Welcome to my weekly meme Tell Me Something Tuesday where I ask you something and you tell me the answer!! It’s as simple as that and I thought it would be a great way for all of us bloggers to get to know one another! So this is how it works: I post a question here on my blog and then i give my answer. I invite all the bloggers to take the question and post it on their blog with their answer and we can hop around and see what everyone says! If you are a blogger don’t forget to leave your link at the bottom of this post! If you aren’t a blogger – that’s okay too!! Leave your answer in the comments section!
Today’s question is Valentine’s Day inspired just like my special Tell Me Something Tuesday Banner.
Tell Me Something:
I could probably list a couple from every single book I have ever read. LOL. But I won’t because your eyes would start to bleed and you would be left screaming WHY!? Not very valentine -ish is it? LOL. SO…. I will choose a few couples that have really stuck with me and I am sure that I will forget to name a few really epic loves so hopefully the bloggers who participate this week won’t.
I don’t think I could mention book couples without listing Bella and Edward. Yes, many people are tired of Twilight… but Breaking Dawn (part one) just came out on DVD and it is Valentine’s Day and I think we can all agree that Bella and Edward’s love story is really romantic. So.
#1 Bella and Edward
#2 Nick and Zara from Carrie Jones Need Series
I really love Nick and Zara. I think the obstacles they have to overcome are really tough ones and I am STILL waiting to find out how their love story ends with Endure (Need#4) which is due out in June.
#3 Clara and Tucker…. and Christian. LOL. It’s so good I can’t choose between them…. I was TOTALLY team Tucker until Hallowed came out…. now I am wavering, my lip is quivering and I JUST CAN’T CHOOSE!
#4 Victoria and Aden from Intertwined (Intertwined Series) also, from this series : Riley and Mary. This series is a bucket of awesome from mega author Gena Showalter. I LOVE LOVE this series. Victoria and Aden make a great couple because they are so different yet they fit together SO well. Riley and Mary….. well talk about chemistry and if given the chance I would totally STEAL Riley right out from under Mary! I will say that the way book 3 ended (Twisted) I was not happy at all with Aden OR Riley but I am holding out HIGH hopes that the final book in the series will renew my faith in both these hotties.
#5 Kyle and Lindy from Beastly this to me is a classic Beauty and the Beast tale and you have to love a tale that defies a nasty old haggish witch, a curse and a boy who is made to look as ugly on the outside as he is on the inside. Its a great story where someone completely transforms in both outer and inner.
#6 Damon and Elena from the Vampire Diaries. Okay so I haven’t read this series but I watch it on TV every week and you all know that this show is like the BEST thing ever in my TV world. LOL. SO I have to list them because OH MY have you SEEN Damon? He is probably the hottest thing ever. He’s tortured, mean yet underneath it all he is a teddy bear. Elena really makes me mad and sometimes I want to smack her. I mean really, Stefan??? Ugh. She’ll come around. Deep down she knows who is for her….
#7 I will end this list with a True Classic: Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice I really don’t think these two need an explanation. Incredibly romantic and swoonworthy. If we (by we I mean me) are still talking about this couple after all these years clearly their love is EPIC.
I will end my favorite couples list here. I can’t wait to see who you all have chosen because there are SO many fabulous couples and love stories to choose from. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Thanks so much for spending a bit of it here!
