Today I am profiling a werewolf I haven’t read for a while – but I haven’t forgotten him either. He was one of those characters that sneaked into my heart and hasn’t left. I couldn’t  get enough of him while reading a particular series….

Werewolf:  Nick

Series: Need Series by Carrie Jones

Love interest: Zara

Werewolf enemy in this series: Pixies! (these pixies were super creepy with their blue skin and tiny teeth like sharks! *shudders*)

Stats: Tall, dark and handsome

What he drives: A red mini cooper (just the juxtaposition of a big bad werewolf squishing himself into this mini makes me smile)

Characteristics: Strong, Stubborn and extremely protective. Some might even say he has a hero complex to take care of not only Zara but the entire town. I kind of viewed him as a leader that other people turned to when things went haywire.

Why he’s so hot: Besides everything I mentioned above (lol) he has this way of talking. The word ‘baby’ falls from those kissable lips sometimes and frankly it made me grip the book until my knuckles turned white. Lol. His life hasn’t been too easy (hint without giving much away: it involves his parents) but his inner strength always shows through.

Throughout the Need Series: He never ever backs down from a challenge – which at one point made me very, very upset. Him and Zara face a lot of challenges to their relationship and I am waiting for the fourth book in the series to see how it all plays out.

This is how I picture Nick:

  1. I sadly jave not read this series so I haven’t met Nick. As far as hot werewolves hmmm need to read more but I think Clay in Bitten and Adam in Mercy Thompson sound really delicious!

  2. I have Need sitting on my shelf but I haven’t read it yet. After hearing you talk about Nick and seeing that super hot picture, I don’t think that I’ll wait to much longer to read it. Thanks for the motivation!

  3. girl! I LOVE the covers and your description, maybe one day I will get to read this…

  4. I read book one but I was not really into it, but I heard Captivate is better so I’m going to read it someday, but dang, that Nick is hotter than the Nick I pictured! SMEXY Wolf!
