Hey Peeps!

New Year’s eve is among us!!! I hope you all are ready to ring in the New Year and make this your best year yet! This has been a really great and blessed year for me. It has also been a year full of good reads! I think any avid reader will tell you that it is hard to make of a list of the books they loved the most throughout the year. There are so many talented authors out there.

So, with that being said I am going to list some of my top picks that I have read this year. I might even list the books I am dying to crack open but just haven’t had the chance.

See if some of your picks are on my list!

Note: I chose my books for this list based on several criteria. One: It held me interested in the story. Two: I liked the characters, Three: It was memorable. Meaning out of all the books I read, I can recall it pretty clearly in a sea of words. 🙂 Four: I like the cover. 🙂

#1 Unearthly by Cynthia Hand.

#2 Unraveled by Gena Showalter (I really enjoyed the entire 3 books in the Intertwined series but I will admit the third book, Twisted was a little disappointing)

#3 Nightshade by Angela Cremer

#4 Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins

#5 Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins

#6  Beastly by Alex Flinn

#7 Legacies of Talimura: War of the Witch by Angel Haze and Slade Sewell

#8 Cold Blood by Heather Hildenbrand

#9 Cold Blood by Heather Hildenbrand (This book has a character named after me!!)

#10 Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

#11 Hollowland by Amanda Hocking

So I managed to narrow it down to these, LOL. But they aren’t the only great books I have read this year.

Here are a few books I am dying to read and WILL get to in the New Year:

So those are just a few books I must get my hands on in 2011…. and the list continues to grow!!!

So what were your fvorite reads this year? How about your not so favorite reads??

Again, I wish you all a very Happy New Year!!!!!!

I read a lot of both indie and traditionally publiahed books this year and i feel that this list is a good mix of both! Thanks for stopping by the blog!

I love the fact that you always take the time to help out others by sharing the books you loved with us all, whether they be with a pub house or indie written.
